Email options
Your email should belong to you, so whatever you choose it’s set up in your name. We look after the technical setup.
Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
Professional email, calendar and file storage. You hold the account and pay Google or Microsoft directly (about $8–15 + GST per user per month). We connect your domain and set up your first mailboxes.
Basic mailboxes
1–2 simple addresses like info@ or contact@ on our hosting, included in your plan. Great for very small businesses that just need a professional address.
Keep your existing email
Happy with what you’ve got? We’ll point your domain correctly and make sure your website contact form delivers to you.
Whichever option you choose, we set up your MX, SPF and DKIM records, and basic troubleshooting is covered by your monthly support. Extra mailboxes or full email hosting are quoted on request.

Frequently asked questions
Is there really no setup fee?
Yep. Design, build and launch are all covered by the $149/month, so there’s nothing to pay up front beyond your first month.
How long is the contract?
There’s a 12-month minimum. After that it rolls on month to month, and either of us can end it with 30 days’ notice. If you need to cancel within the first 12 months, you can still take your domain and website content with you by paying a $600 incl. GST cancellation fee.
Who owns my domain?
We register your domain and look after it for the first 12 months. After your minimum term, the domain and your WordPress website are yours, and we’ll transfer the domain into your name. If you already own a domain, you keep it and we simply connect it.
Who owns my content?
You do. Your words, photos and logo are always yours, and after 12 months the WordPress website itself is yours too.
What about email?
Your email belongs to you. Most clients use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, which you pay for directly (about $8–15 + GST per user per month), and we connect it to your domain. For very small businesses we can include 1–2 basic mailboxes on our hosting instead.
Do you write the words for my site?
Send us rough notes and we’ll shape them into web-friendly copy. That’s included. If you’d like everything written from scratch, just ask and we’ll quote it.
I don’t have a logo. Can you help?
Yes, we can help with a logo. Additional setup costs may apply, and we’ll always quote first.
Do I need a privacy policy?
Your contact form collects personal information, so the Privacy Act 2020 applies. We include a basic privacy policy page on your site. If your industry needs extra privacy wording, let us know.
What counts as a simple change?
Things like updating text, swapping photos, changing opening hours, adding a staff member or posting a news item. You get 60 minutes of these each month.
What if I need something bigger?
No worries. We’ll quote it first, and nothing goes ahead until you’ve approved it.
Can I have an online shop?
Yes. Online shops are available on request and are priced by the size of the shop. Tell us roughly how many products you have and we’ll quote it.
Can I see a design before I sign up?
Yes. We’ll design a free homepage preview for your business and send you a private link before you sign up. There’s no obligation.
Where are you based? Do you cover my area?
We work with small businesses right across New Zealand, from Northland to Southland. Everything can be done by phone, video and email.
What do extras cost?
Anything outside the plan, such as extra mailboxes, extra pages or bigger changes, is quoted on request. You approve the quote before any work starts.
How quickly do you reply?
We answer support emails within 1–2 business days. Same-day emergency support isn’t part of the package.
How long does a new site take?
Once you’ve reviewed your design and sent any changes, we complete your site within 5 working days.
